Dressed & Stuffed Pineapple Fruit Salad

While this fruit salad recipe capitalizes on the natural beauty of whole pineapples it is extra sweet and delicious during the peak season. The fruit is naturally sweet enough to enjoy plain. However, if you prefer a little extra sweetness, drizzle a bit of the dressing over the fruit and let stand for about half an hour before serving.

The pineapple is stuffed with fruit salad but you do not have stuff yourself!

For Hawaiian pineapples, the main fruiting season is from April to May. Pineapples grown in the Caribbean have two fruiting seasons, December through February and August through September (as per Home Guides).

  1. This fruit salad sounds delicious. I know my family would love it. I will put the blueberries in a side dish as one of us do not eat them. They can add if they wish to do so. Thanks for sharing it with us.
