Living Intentions Superfood Cereal is redefining the standard for healthy breakfast cereals.

Living Intentions Superfood Cereal includes many delicious flavors. These include Cacao Crunch, Hemp & Greens, Radiant Raspberry and Acai Blueberry.  The cereal is mostly organic in addition to raw, sprouted, and vegan. Additionally, the cereal is free of gluten, nuts and Genetically Modified Organisms. There are no added fillers, chemicals or additives.

living intentions cacao crunchIn my opinion, Cacao Crunch is the best. This is a result of the fact that I am reminded of decadent cereals while I am also protecting my health.

I love that Maca Root, Mesquite Pod, Astragalus and Reishi Mycelium are used to enhance the health value.

Maca Root may increase strength, stamina, and energy in addition to offering libido boosting functions.

Mesquite Pod has a slightly sweet flavor and is a common native food staple. It is rich in protein, fiber, calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, zinc, protein, and lysine.

Astragalus is used for immune system support in addition to being used for elimination and metabolic functions. Consequently it is quite popular in Traditional Chinese Medicine

Reishi Mycelium is also popular in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The “Mushroom of Immortality” is often used for its stress reducing properties.

The full ingredient profile is as listed below.

  1. Buckwheat
  2. Coconut
  3. Coconut Palm Sugar
  4. Sunflower Sprouts
  5. Dates
  6. Raisins
  7. Rice Bran
  8. Germ Bran
  9. Golden Flax Meal
  10. Cacao Butter
  11. Vanilla Extract
  12. Himalayan Salt.

Coconut Palm Sugar is a low glycemic sweetener. Himalayan Salt is higher in quality than most other salts.

Living Intentions Superfood Cereal is a Raw food. Supporters of the raw food diet believe that this is the best way to eat so as to preserve vitamins, minerals and enzymes. Sprouting is a process of germinating nuts and seeds in order to make them more easily digested.

Above all, Living Intentions Superfood Cereal is delicious, satisfying and filling. I love it as a cereal and as a snack to enjoy eaten dry.

Have you tried it yet? Will you? What is your favorite cereal?

  1. Hi Dr. Elise,

Feel a little guilty when I eat it, but love my raisin bran breakfast. Really want to try the ‘superfood cereals’ you’ve mentioned in this post. They sound healthy and delicious, too! Thanks,

  2. Right or wrong I just read a report that unless you have a gluten intolerance you should eat gluten or it could be very damaging to your health, causing type 2 diabetes if you leave it out of your diet. Interesting theory.

    Enjoy the journey!

  3. This sounds wonderful… I so miss having cereal for breakfast. I’ll have to find out if it’s available in Canada so I can try it. Thanks!
